Tampa Harbor and Bay
Tampa’s waterfront with warehouses, small sailing craft, and the bay beyond.
An engraved plate from Oliver Marvin Crosby’s Florida Facts, Both Bright and Blue (1887). Crosby founded Avon Park two years earlier; these plates are the imagery he and his contemporaries used to sell Florida land to northern buyers, and they should be read as promotion rather than as record.
