The Society’s own material
The writing, photographs and design on this site are © Avon Park Historical Society unless a page says otherwise. You are welcome to use them for personal, educational and research purposes with a credit to the Society. For anything else, including commercial use or republication, ask first through the About Us page.
The archive
Each item in the archive states its own rights, using one of these terms: public domain, Society (the Society’s own work), CC0, CC BY, CC BY-SA or permission granted. Reuse follows the stated rights and the credit line given with the item. Material whose rights are still pending, belong to a third party or are unknown is not published on this site at all.
Accuracy
The archive is local history assembled from the sources available, and it is revised as better evidence arrives. Each archive document carries an evidence grade and says whether a second reviewer has checked it against its sources. Nothing here is warranted to be complete or free of error. If you find a mistake, the Society would like to hear from you.
Ask A.P.
The archive assistant answers from the archive under the terms above and under its own usage policy. Its answers are generated text and should be checked against the pages it cites.
Payments and memberships
Donations, memberships and tickets are processed by Zeffy under Zeffy’s terms. The Society does not see or store card details.

Links to other websites and embedded videos are provided for convenience. The Society is not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.
