The Strike Zone and Turf Infield
The museum's hands-on area: a pitching accuracy game, original stadium seating, and a synthetic turf infield where visitors can step onto the field.

The Baseball Museum is designed to be experienced, not simply viewed. Its interactive Strike Zone invites visitors of every age to test their pitching accuracy against a target frame, just as generations of Avon Park players once did in practice.
Surrounding the Strike Zone is a synthetic turf infield laid out with a home plate and base paths, so families and school groups can step directly onto a ballfield inside the museum.
Original wooden and steel stadium seating rescued from historic Florida ballparks provides authentic seating alongside displays of vintage gloves, catcher’s gear, and team uniforms.
